What to expect from your initial consult.

1. An introduction to the Functional Patterns methodology:

2. A brief interview discussing any current or previous pain, injuries and previous training history:
We'll discuss your history and daily habits which will help to identify key factors contributing to your current state and/or those that may be hindering you from reaching your health & fitness goals.

3. In depth analysis of your posture and gait cycle:
To best assess how you are currently adapting to your environment, we'll photograph your standing posture from each side and take a slow-motion video recording of your gait cycle. Together, we'll discuss these findings and show you how the Functional Patterns system works to address any inefficiencies, allowing you to optimise your health and/or overcome pain.

Rehab/Injury Prevention

If injuries and pain are holding you back, we can help you systematically reverse engineer your movement and exercise behaviour so you can start moving and feeling better than ever.

Classes

Myofascial Release and Intentional Pressure/Breathing Dynamics:
This class focuses on myofascial release (MFR) to help rehydrate restricted tissues and calm the nervous system with proper breathing mechanics, a great way to unwind and tune into your body to create a more parasympathetic state.

Foundations:
This class is based on correctives from the 10 week online course. This class runs as a 10 week block program progressing from posture and structural integration to more gait based correctives like step presses and rows.

Dynamics:
This class focuses on learning how to use various tools like RG bells, kettlebells, med balls, maces and dumb bells, and introduce pendulum and swinging motions. It will also include more multiplane motions on the cable machines.

Strength and Functional Body Building:
This class focuses on heavier cable movements, landmine work,  and tools unique to the Functional Patterns ecosystem like the RG bar and Leverageking.

Standard class membership
$60/week or $240/month - includes all MFR and Foundations classes (max 6/week)

Premium class membership
$80/week or $320/month - includes access to all classes as well as monthly posture review sessions.
